Colstrip Hangar:

Howdy All,

Here is the deal on the Colstrip Hangar meetings. Because of the shift work that goes on in this community we do not have definite meeting time. We meet at the airport and when the weather is good we have a pot luck dinner before the meeting. The dinners have gained a reputation for being some of the best home cooking in the country also on occasion we cook a roast in the ground or deep fat fry a turkey, fish fry or a garbage can dinner has been done. We expect to do the same this summer. I have not sent this info in because of the unknown times. North Central Hangar - Monthly meetings 7:30 p.m. the second Monday of each month at the Havre (HVR) Terminal building. North Central Hangar serves Big Sandy, Chinook, Harlem, Havre and the surrounding area. Contact John Anderson

Sanders County Hangar - The Sanders County Hangar of the MPA holds quarterly dinner meetings on the second Thursday of the months of March, June, September and December. Meetings alternate between Plains and Thompson Falls. Guests are welcomed and can be picked up at either airport. Contact hangar president Erick Doty.

Valley Hangar - meets the second Wednesday of each month. Dinner Meetings are currently held at Johnnie Cafe, 6 pm, in the back room. We will be planning a work session for West Poplar Airstrip soon. Any questions, contact Bob Lipscomb 2wefly@nemontel.net or call at 406 228-2067.

Miles City Hangar - Well hopefully spring is here and we can get flying. Miles City hangar meets the 1st Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Miles City airport.
- Our annual Airport Apprecation Day will be held June 2nd with breakfast starting at 7a.m. then we will have some games and will be flying Young Eagles..We are hoping to have several static displays to show what our airport has to offer to the public and just what goes on at the Miles City Airport..Will report more next time and sure hope to see you all there.
